Suitable for ice machines producing up to 50 Kg of ice in 24 hours
Ice machines that produce cloudy and poor quality ice are likely in need of a filter. When water turns to ice dissolved minerals in hard water precipitate and coat the working surfaces inside the ice machine, this leads to increased energy costs and inferior ice.
Scale can be an aesthetic problem, leaving streaky and 'milky' looking marks on otherwise clean glasses and crockery. Clenaware water treatments are used to remove hardness from water coming into the machine.
Ice machines that produce cloudy and poor quality ice are likely in need of a filter. When water turns to ice dissolved minerals in hard water precipitate and coat the working surfaces inside the ice machine, this leads to increased energy costs and inferior ice. It will also lead to a reduction in ice production and eventually lead to equipment breakdown, while chlorine in unfiltered water can add unwanted taste and odours.
Clenaware Ice Machine Filters give you an ideal opportunity to bring down maintenance costs while reducing your carbon footprint at the same time. With a simple Media Insert Refill, it is cost-effective and easy to maintain your filter and keep your ice bright and clear while protecting your ice machine.
Clenaware Ice Machine Filters are used to remove hardness from water coming into the machine. The hardness in water is determined by the amount of calcium and magnesium dissolved in water, the more calcium and magnesium the water contains, then the harder the water is.
Scale likes to cling to the internal parts of your ice machine. The build-up of scale in your ice machine can affect its capability and stop it from operating at peak performance.
