Dishwashers A dishwasher is a machine that has been designed specifically to wash and rinse dishes and utensils. Like glasswashers, commercial dishwashers are typically used in pubs, restaurants, bars and hotels, but they are also used within hospitals, nursing homes, and other catering establishments. The inside of Clenaware dishwashers, called the tub, is made of plastic, which helps to resist hard water, it provides a better sound proofing and also helps to preserve the heat to dry dishes in a faster time. It is recommended that a rinse aid is used with Clenaware dishwashers in order to prevent spotting on dishes. Rinse aids contain surfactants that prevent water droplets from forming and cause water to 'sheet' away from the surfaces of tableware instead. Rinse aids also prevent limescale minerals from forming in your dishwasher and thus affecting your machine's performance in the long term. As there is less water on your tableware when using a rinse aid, drying performance is also enhanced. Like glasswashers are dedicated for glassware only, dishwashers are dedicated to dishes and eating utensils only. Water Softeners and Water Treatments Water softeners reduce the concentration of calcium, magnesium and other metals in hard water that cause corrosion and the build up of limescale in Clenaware machines. Water softeners also enable the detergents to lather and react with the water efficiently to help provide the best washing cycle every time.
